Since gaining a degree in jewellery design from Central Saint Martins over twenty years ago, Susan has built up a successful business which boasts an enviable clientele – various members of the Royal Family, a host of celebrities including: Gwyneth Paltrow, Dustin Hoffman, Eric Clapton, Adam Garcia and from the sporting world, the likes of Steve Waugh and Greg Rusedki to name but a few.

She has a superb range of beautiful samples at the shop which has a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Susan will spend time listening to her client’s requirements whilst offering her expertise and experience. She is very concerned that her customers are completely satisfied as she appreciates that the buying of an engagement and wedding ring is an extremely important long term purchase and she takes this most seriously.

Susan’s style could be described as Modern-Classic. She feels that engagement and wedding rings should be stunning now, but look equally good in 10 or 20 years time. “There is nothing worse than jewellery that dates. I hate to see a ring and think “that’s really 90’s!”

She favours simple elegant designs with clean lines and works in Platinum and 18ct White or Yellow Gold usually set with stunning diamonds or exquisite coloured gemstones.

Susan Astaire has a very large range of Men’s wedding rings from the simplest plain bands to more decorative designs.

Susan enjoys her client’s input into the creation of their rings which includes letting them choose their own diamond or coloured stone from a selection that she shows them. This is not only a fun experience, but ensures that the client has as much involvement in their rings as possible making the finished product even more personalised.

Susan Astaire is happy to undertake commissions for any type of jewellery required and also offers a complete remodelling service. She is happy to mount a family or ‘heirloom’ stone.

Engagement rings start from £2,000. and wedding rings from £500. Susan works by appointment and is flexible to fit in with the busy working lives of her client’s.
